The business lawyer will:
The business lawyer will:
Ø Analyze and comment on contracts and concessions signed by the government with the operators of the sector;
Ø Analyze and comment on the contracts between operators and consumers of electricity;
Ø Conduct reconciliations between operators or between operators and consumers of the electricity sector;
Ø Supervise and train consumer associations in the legal;
Ø Advise and conduct litigation on behalf of the agency;
Ø Participate in the implementation of the regulatory tribunal;
Ø Study the case law and refer to them when needed;
Ø Keep watch on developments in the law on the sector;
Ø Communicate within the agency, both by operators and consumer groups on any change in the law regarding employees or business sector;
Ø The interface between the courts, law firms, operators and consumers;
PROFILE
Have a degree (A/L +5) in business law (though have a good knowledge of employment law, contracts for public-private partnership);
Experience in a law firm or company would be an advantage;
3 years of professional experience;
Have good financial and economic culture;
A good knowledge of the Cameroonian legal system is essential;
Have good capacity for teamwork and good communication skills;
Being able to work under conditions of pressure and produce results;
Have good writing skills and synthesis;
Being analytical, controlling and tools with excellent oral and written French and English;
Be objective and impartial, and have a spirit of initiative;
Be available, rigorous, organized, and comply with Clause conflicts of interest.
