Accountant


JOB DESCRIPTION
He is responsible for:
Set up the accounting system as OHADA standards;
Establish a cost accounting system for the monitoring of performance centers;
Check the plugs for charging consolidated accounting, analytical and budget;
Establish the accounting records and financial monthly, quarterly and annually;
Establish an annual disbursement in accordance with the PTA (annual work plan);
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements for each account;
Prepare requests for withdrawal of funds and all documentation necessary to disbursements;
Stop and submit financial statements and financial monitoring reports;
Perform the work stopped interim accounts and year end;
Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual budget and budget monitoring;
Perform analysis of eligibility of expenditure to be incurred;
Oversee the preparation of transfer orders and regulations slips on the occasion of payments for goods, works and services rendered;
Check the documentation of expenditures to ensure their validity and accuracy prior to registration;
Establish supply situation and ensure that the accounts are sufficiently stocked for the early settlement of expenditures;
Check the newsletters and payroll, checks and statements of mission allowances;
Collaborate to audit and control by providing information, documents and records and explanations required;
Update the chart of accounts, records and budget codes;
Develop  and conduct accounting and financial audits on behalf of the client;
Support the institutional players in the sector;
                                            PROFILE

- Holding a university degree after a term including (BAC G2 and G2 HND);
- Have at least five (05) years of experience;
- Experience in an accounting firm will be an advantage;
- Have good practical knowledge of administrative law and OHADA Accounting;
- Have knowledge of accounting and financial management;
- Know how to develop budgets;
- Have knowledge of GAAP and IFRS;
- Have excellent interpersonal and multicultural skills, with proven experience in communicating with high-level institutional actors;
- Being communicative, analytical, controlling and tools with excellent oral and written French and English;
- Female candidates are encouraged.
