4G Africa recruits Assistant Accountant.

Position N°: 4GA 12/11

The Assistant Accountant will work in the Finance department and report directly to the Finance Manager. He/she will be responsible for helping to prepare financial statements The Place of employment will be Yaounde.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Under direction, performs difficult professional accounting work including the examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation, and verification of financial records    
• Develops and implements new accounting systems;
• Prepares a variety of detailed accounting, statistical, and narrative financial statements or reports requiring analysis and interpretation.

In addition, the branch coordinator’s duties will also include:

• May supervise and review the work of fiscal and clerical personnel in making entries
• Review cash advances to personnel
• Control expense statements presented by personnel
• Prepare purchase orders

Pre-requisite qualifications:

• Hold at least a first degree in accounting
• Having experience in the area of telecommunication will be a plus.
• Be bilingual, English / French is a plus.
